Most speed tools bury the three metrics that actually matter under dozens of numbers you'll never act on. This tool shows you LCP, INP and CLS front and centre, with a clear pass/fail verdict, live optimization opportunities, and plain-English fixes.
It pulls from Google's PageSpeed Insights data — the same source Google uses. When a page has real-world field data it shows that; when it doesn't (common on new sites), it falls back to lab data instead of leaving you with nothing.
A Core Web Vitals checker measures the three metrics Google uses to judge page experience: LCP (how fast the main content loads), INP (how quickly the page responds to clicks and taps), and CLS (how much the layout jumps around while loading).
These are part of Google's page experience signals. They won't rescue thin content, but between two pages of similar quality, the faster, more stable one wins. They also affect conversions directly — slow, jumpy pages lose visitors regardless of ranking. Once your vitals are healthy, make sure your pages are discoverable with an XML sitemap and crawlable via robots.txt.
Most failures come down to a handful of causes. For LCP, the usual culprit is a large hero image — compress it, serve WebP, set fetchpriority="high", and add caching. Slow server response (TTFB) is the other big one — better hosting or a CDN fixes it.
For INP, the cause is almost always too much JavaScript. Audit your plugins, remove what you don't use, defer non-critical scripts, and be ruthless about third-party tags. For CLS, always set explicit width and height on images and reserve space for anything that loads late — ads, embeds, cookie banners.
All three use Google's data. Here's where each one fits — no fluff.
